Much like cats and dogs, birds and other exotic pets benefit from regular veterinary care to help live a long, happy, and healthy life. Our specialist is trained in the unique care and husbandry needs and veterinary treatment of these species.
During your initial wellness visit with us, our vets will thoroughly review your pet's care, nutritional and housing needs. A comprehensive physical exam will be performed and vaccinations and health screening tests will be discussed.
Our vets will also be happy to discuss any medical or behavioral concerns and answer any questions you might have about your exotic pet. We always tailor our recommendations to the needs of your pet and your family.
- Sick Pet Appointments & Daytime Emergencies
Reptiles and other exotic pets with health or behavioral concerns can be seen and treated by our veterinary team during our daytime hours.
If possible, contact us before an unscheduled visit to ensure that we can treat your pet. While we accept walk-in and work-in emergencies for exotic pets, if a double booking of an appointment occurs there may be additional fees.
- After-Hours Emergencies
Our hospital is fully equipped to meet the needs of critically sick reptiles and other exotic pets. Our Emergency Services is staffed by a team of veterinarians, registered veterinary technicians, and support staff during the day.
